Beyond Shelter's Institute for Research, Training and Technical Assistance conducts technical assistance activities nationwide. These activities include regional and national workshops, direct consulting to individual agencies and localities, and presentations at state, regional and national conferences. Additionally, the Institute produces policy papers and publications.
In 2011, PARTNERING FOR CHANGE: The National Institute for Innovative Strategies to Combat Family Homelessness & Poverty will begin operations, co-located at, and working collaboratively with, Beyond Shelter's Institute for Research, Training and Technical Assistance to promote its key initiatives. The new National Institute will also work closely with research and program associates across the country to promote innovative strategies to improve the lives of families and children in poverty. The new National Institute will expand upon Beyond Shelter's previous national training and consulting work.
